It’s a shuckin’ good time! Join us to celebrate an age-old Irish tradition: eating oysters while drinking Guinness! Every year, Galway Ireland celebrates the coming of the oyster season with one of the world’s largest parties. (It has been said that their oyster party is one of the top ten parties in the world.)
Every fourth week in August, de Vere’s Irish pub pays homage to this celebration by taking a week to celebrate the wonders of the oyster. This includes daily oyster specials, drink specials, and a local chef oyster-shucking competition on the last Sunday in August.
Grab your family and friends and come down for some incredible food, a glass of champagne, or a pint or two of Guinness. With each passing year, this festival gets better and better—and trust us, it’s a great time even if you DON’T like oysters.
