May is National Burger Month! Thanks to burgerjunkies.com, many Sacramento restos are whipping up some awesome burgers to celebrate. Of course, we had to get in on the action, too. Kentucky Derby Hat Contest

For the past three year’s we’ve brought a bit of Churchill Downs to de Vere’s with an annual Kentucky Derby Hat Contest! This year, the stakes are high–the winners of the contest (judged by local fashion experts) will go home with our best prizes yet:

1st: $75 de Vere’s gift card

2nd: $50 de Vere’s gift card

3rd: $25 de Vere’s gift card

Derby Day is Saturday, May 5th. Be sure to show up well before the race starts (which is 2pm). The judging should start around 12:30pm and the winners will be announced before 2pm.
